Kao što verovatno već znate, 15. aprila ove godine ogroman požar zahvatio je srednjevekovnu katedralu u Parizu. Krov jedne od najpoznatijih građevina u Francuskoj potpuno se urušio dok su glavna struktura i dva zvonika opstala.

Zahvaljujući stotinama vatrogasaca koji su dali svoj maksimum da ugase vatru, katedrala je ipak ostala sačuvana.

U ponedeljak, 15. aprila, François-Henri Pinault izjavio je da će on i njegova porodica podržati restauraciju katedrale sa 100 miliona $. Pinault je inače vlasnik Keringa, lanca luksuznih brendova kao što je Gucci, Balenciaga, YSL i drugi.

Pored njega, oglasio se i biznismen Bernard Arnault i rekao da će on u ime svoje porodice donirati 200 miliona $. Arnault je vlasnik LVMH grupe u čijem je vlasništvu Louis Vuitton, Dior i ostale velike modne kuće. On je, takođe, i najbogatiji čovek u modnoj industriji.
